Simran C - Hayley is a fantastic communicator, and her replies are always prompt. She explains ideas really well and engages consistently in every session. I would highly recommend her, particularly if you have any English queries.
Lina N - I recently had the pleasure of working with Miss Hayley P on Sherpa and I am extremely satisfied with my experience so far. She is a highly skilled and dedicated tutor who has helped me improve my techniques in analyzing poems for my English GCSE this summer. Her deep understanding of poetry analysis and effective teaching methods made complex concepts easy to grasp. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking tutoring for English Literature.
Mrs Chettra-mann - Great tutor, helped my son immensely with his English as he had fallen woefully behind post covid. Now he's so much more confident in the subject thanks to Jeff!
Mrs Kopacz - My dughter is currenntly being tutored by Jeff through her A level in English Literature (aiming for A*). Jeff is a brilliant tutor, who is always well prepared for the lesson, thinking and planning ahead and open for questions from students and parents. What I (as a parent) like most is the fact that Jeff knows how to challenge my daughter so she can reach her potential. I was very impressed by the first lesson's assesment which Jeff prepared for her, (not taking my assesment for granted), and his detailed feedback. I truly recommend Jeff as a tutor.
Kristina - Biology was always a subject I enjoyed and having a great teacher just adds up you my overall joy. Your lessons were always really interesting every topic was explained clearly with lots of examples and fun activities. Your professional approach together with the humorous comments made every lesson an thing to remember.
Mrs Brant - We were so relieved to find Bruce as he is one of very few tutors to have experience of the Eduqas exam board for A level Biology. Bruce is clearly very experienced and has a large online library of resources and exam questions that he has collected and devised and would send out weekly for my daughter to complete. Bruce was also hugely helpful when my daughter was completing her UCAS form and gave great feedback for her personal statement. I'm sure this contributed to the unconditional offers that she got which meant in the end she didn't need to re-take her Biology A level.
Mr Wellappili - Patient with structured approach.
Jennifer R - Ian was such a massive help when writing my essay for my economics degree. I came to him with a very last-minute deadline, and he responded quickly and got a lesson sorted. During the lesson, he demonstrated a vast knowledge of all topics discussed and was very friendly and understanding. Before the lesson, I was clueless about the topics I was writing about, but I was steered in the right direction. Definitely recommend.
Raj - Ian is a very knowledgeable and clear tutor in economics. Very helpful and good instructions on how to better understand the subject with a view to achieving a good A-Level result.
India Dale-hill - Having had the privilege of being taught by Mr Crawley for A Level History, I can confidently attest to his exceptional teaching abilities. His approach strikes a perfect balance between efficiency and engagement-each lesson is meticulously planned, highly informative, and consistently stimulating. Mr Crawley's dedication to excellence ensures that his students are not merely prepared to meet expectations but are inspired and equipped to exceed them. When I began, I was achieving a standard B grade, but under Mr Crawley's expert guidance and encouragement, I graduated with a solid A*. His emphasis on mastering the subject and his unwavering commitment to high standards instilled in me both the skills and the mindset necessary for success. These attributes continue to benefit me in my university studies, where I am achieving a first-class standard in history, following the principles of rigour and aspiration that Mr. Crawley taught me. Mr Crawley's passion for history, his methodical yet engaging teaching style, and his genuine investment in the success of his students make him an exceptional educator. For those willing to work hard and aim for excellence, he is an invaluable mentor.
Flora Mardon - Mr Crawley was, without a doubt, one of the most influential teachers I had during my time at school. His expertise and dedication to his students were unparalleled, and I consider myself fortunate to have benefited from his guidance. Through his teaching, particularly in A-Level History, he honed my essay writing skills, providing me with a robust and adaptable technique that I could apply to any question. My highest scores at A level were his topics, and I believe this is largely down to his teaching. His extensive subject knowledge, coupled with his genuine care for his students' development, ensured that my work consistently carried a distinctive depth and insight, that I wouldn't find under my other subjects and teachers. The skills I acquired under Mr Crawley - such as advanced research methods, critical text analysis, and effective writing - have been invaluable throughout my university studies, and I truly believe I have him to thank for much of my academic success. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Mrs Deo - I used Ian for some revision sessions ready for my daughter's exam. He was always on time and prepared. He gave questions at the end of a session and marked these, with feedback, ready for the next. I would highly recommend him!
Mrs Kingsbury - A truly outstanding, passionate and concerned tutor. Thank you!
Sanae - My son has made good progress on his writing techniques since Micheal has been teaching him. Michael is a very good communicator as well, which is very helpful to fit my son's busy schedules with sports commitments. We are very happy with him.
Louisa - Michael is an excellent tutor. I am very happy we chose him to tutor my son. He really does know his subject well. He has taught my son excellent exam techniques and boosted his confidence. Thanks, Michael
Mazen Hafez - Mr Waller is an inspiring and intellectual teacher who really makes the subject interesting. I used him for my A Level Physics work (CAIE) and achieved an A*.
Mrs Wise - My son wasn't over enthusiastic about having tutoring at first, however after his first session with Nita, he was instantly beaming and was keen to learn in a fun, relaxed environment. Thank you ever so much.
Miss De Boehmler - Hannah is a great Politics tutor. She explained the syllabus very clearly for my daughter, and went at my daughter's pace. Hannah is very knowledgeable, knows her subject well.
Ms Amy - Natalie has been providing tutorials in GCSE English to my daughter recently, and she found her very knowledgeable and helpful. She commented that the examples and exercises provided by Natalie in her lessons were very useful, and she enjoys attending Natalie's lessons.
Mum Of Year 11 Student - Amazing results! He got 9s for both of his papers. Thank you very much for your guidance. Thank you so much for helping him build his confidence. We're very grateful to you.

Location
Online Tuition: Involves an University Entrance tutor on the platform of your choice to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. This can take place anywhere with an internet connection.
Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.
Individual Attention
Online Tuition: Allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the University Entrance tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.
Cost
Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your University Entrance tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition.
Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.
Flexibility
Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of University Entrance tutors.
Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.
Interaction
Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style.
Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.
The choice between online, or small group University Entrance tuition depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
